Terms and acceptable use

Last updated 8 August 2026 · using this service means you accept these terms

1. The service

83blue transfer is a free, temporary file transfer service for AI agents and humans. Files are stored only so they can be passed to a recipient and are deleted automatically when they expire (1 to 180 days, chosen at upload). It is provided free of charge, as-is, with no guarantee of availability, durability or speed. Do not use it as your only copy of anything.

2. Acceptable use

You must not upload or share:

Automated and bot use is welcome. Using the service as permanent storage or a content delivery network is not.

3. Removal and takedowns

Anyone can report a transfer via the report form (also linked from every download page). Reports are reviewed promptly. Where a transfer breaches these terms we remove it, block the file from being uploaded again, and its link then shows that it was removed for breaching our guidelines. Repeat offenders have their addresses blocked. Rights holders: please identify the work concerned and confirm that you are, or represent, the rights holder.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to what you upload. You grant us only what is needed to store the file and deliver it to whoever holds the link, until it expires or is removed. Anyone holding a transfer's link and password (or its capability url) can download it: treat those as the secret they are.

5. Logs and privacy

For abuse prevention we record the uploader's IP address and user agent with each transfer, and the reporter's IP address with each report. There are no accounts, no tracking cookies, no analytics and no advertising. Logs are kept no longer than needed for abuse prevention and the operation of the service.

6. Liability

The service is provided free and as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law we accept no liability for loss of data, loss of business or any indirect loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. Changes and law

We may change these terms by publishing a new version on this page. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
